All upgrades within a software series are free. Moving from one software series to another requires a paid upgrade. Please only choose an upgrade from your current software series. 3.54 Software with iZOS is a new, modernized version of the BeOS operating system. Main features include:
- USB 2.0 Support - transferring from/to external USB 2.0 drives; support for USB memory stick for audio transfers and software updates; support for all 4 rear panel USB 2.0 ports
- More RAM Support - up to 2GB of RAM supported, allowing 24 hours of waveforms at 192 kHz
- New File Management Desktop - graphical file management. Allows drag and drop transfers using a mouse to USB devices or onto your network
- New Operator's Manual - With tabbed binder format and quick-reference menu/shortcut key.
- Track Arm / Zoom Level - remembered on a per-project basis.
- Enhanced Fill Silence Options - a new 'Front Fill Only' option has been added. This allows you to align all tracks to the same start time without having to fill gaps. There is also a 'Front Fill + Gaps' option.

- Open TL Projects - Import Open TL Projects on HFS+ audio drives to RADAR BWAV audio drives.

- Universal Backups - Flatten backup project files into BWAV format for direct loading onto a DAW
- Custom Names - Customizable file-name formats for backup and export audio files

3.44 Software is a free, downloadable upgrade for current 3.40 users. 3.40 Software, however, is a paid release. For purchase information please contact iZ Sales or an authorized iZ Dealer. 3.40 software can be installed over any previous RADAR software release without purchasing interim releases.
Note: RADAR must comply with the following hardware requirements to run 3.40 software: min. 800 MHz CPU; min. 80 GB system drive with Archive partition; min.
384 MB RAM; 80 wire system drive cable. Please see the 3.40 Release Notes for
more information on hardware requirements. |

RADAR Network Control (RNC) software is a JAVA application that runs on a PC with monitor to control RADAR's transport, project, and meter data. With RNC software, users can enable disk mount / unmount, sync, track arming, transport control, and project goto.
